Where does Mozilla Firefox 32 and higher store the passwords?

I've been happily using Mozbackup for years to backup/restore everything but from Firefox 32, the passwords will no longer backup/restore. And, after upgrading from 31, the stored passwords no longer show.

Am I stuck using 31 or is there a way to find the passwords and back them up using Mozbackup or another software?

I personally use Lastpass as a plug in. The Passwords would be stored on the local computer, and most likely encrypted.

I believe Mozilla has a cloud service now, you may be able to create an account on 31, log in and save your passwords, than upgrade and log in again.

Thank you. I prefer to keep my list on my PC. The main problem is that when I update from 31 to the current 34, the passwords no longer show on the saved password list. Does anyone know how can I transfer the passwords over after updating?
