Which Computer should I buy? (w/ links)

I'm in the market for a new computer. I saw these and thought they were both nice computers. I was wondering which one would be the best choice (based on processor speed or type, storage, brand, etc)

I would mainly use it for general work or using the internet. (Basic computer use)

I'd ask you to go for the Dell laptop simply because it's the latest and greatest and has 1TB's worth of storage on it. Brand wise, it's all up to user preference. No one prebuilt system maker is above the other, they have the same scale/scope of warranty as the other(Dell/Asus/HP/Lenovo).

I was also thinking about the Dell model as well. I currently have an HP Laptop (it's smaller w/ no storage) and it has lots of issues (Wifi connectivity, internal issues) and errors. One time this computer turned off and it appeared as if all my files were gone and it was back to factory default. It turned off again and all my files were back.
