I'm in the market for a new laptop and have narrowed it down to a couple choices, I plan to game and do some moderate content creation in the Adobe Suite. Portability is a huge factor for me so I'm not going to build a desktop PC.

Choice #1: Aorus X3: http://www.amazon.com/Aorus-X3-Plus-CF1-i7-4860HQ-Gaming/dp/B00NC1ZOGE/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1421027671&sr=1-1&keywords=aorus#productDetails

Main benefits, 16GB of RAM for content creation, GTX 870M with 6GB of VRAM for gaming and content creation, 3K screen ( I edit 4K video), and 2x256GB SSD's configurable in raid 0

Choice #2: Aorus X7: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NC3G754/ref=psdc_565108_t1_B00NC1ZOGE

Main benefits: Basically the same as the X3 but with bigger screen and GTX 860M in SLI with more VRAM.
Downside: Drops screen resolution down to 1080P (Big downside for me)

Choice #3: MSI GS70 Stealth http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GS70-STEALTH-037-17-3-Inch-Laptop/dp/B00JKCHRXC/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1421028801&sr=1-1&keywords=msi+gs70+stealth

Main Benefits: Significantly more compact and cheaper then the other options, 12GB of RAM
Downside: Screen drops down to 1080P (I'd probably be fine)

So can anybody help me make this choice? I'd love to hear what you guys think I should go with. Or if you guys have any other suggestions I'd love to hear em.

Realize that no laptop computer is really going to be ideal for editing 4K video.

That being said, I would want 16 GB of RAM for sure to edit 4K video, and would go with the Aorus X3 model, which is choice #1.

Not too familiar with that price range myself but after some quick research that Aorus for your number 1 choice would be your best bet most likely. As Digitaldoc said editing 4k will eat up power like crazy but if you need it to be a laptop that really does seem like the best option.
