Hi,

I need to buy a notebook.

I use Photoshop CS6, Coreldraw X5, Pagemaker 6.5, Virtualdub for video editing. Most of the times I use these applications only. Occasionally I play games.

I have shortlisted three laptops. I am finding hard to decide which laptop to use.

Acer Aspire M3-581TG (i5 CPU)
HP 15-n007ax (Amd A10 CPU)
Lenovo G505s (Amd A10 CPU)
Samsung NP355V5C-S05IN (Amd A8)

I am more inclined towards Lenovo and Samsung as I can downgrade easily to Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit) but its review is not at all good in the internet.

Please help. Its almost a week now but still not decided. Stuck at the above three.

Thanks in advance

the AMD likely has a much better iGPU and would be better for gaming. but the tasks you described above are largely CPU intensive and the i5 will smoke the AMD

I5 wins but id get a desktop...you will need lots of rram. 8gb min and 16 is better for what u plan on doing. Also a good gpu can't hurt with a lot of prrograms writing gpu support into the software. (Gpu + CPU to speed up rendering time )

Thanks for your reply delphysmith

Seems like Acer Aspire M3-581TG is getting more votes.

AMD A10 cant compete i5?? That is strange!!

Any more inputs from anyone please?
