which way conversiom

Hi my optical inputs have stopped working on my 6.1 home theatre receiver not sure why, but it has a coax on it as well. There are two different converter on Amazon to get. But I'm not sure which way I need it. I would like to go from say the Xbox 360 optical to the converter then into then back into the AV. So do I need it "optical - in to coax out" or "optical out to coax in"

You need to convert optical digital audio to coax digital audio.
