White screen, no video out either. I'm stooped please help D:

Hey guys toast here just needing some help
uselly I help other people on the forum but today I need your help. I have an asus g72 rog gaming laptop, kinda old but still was good. when I went to go boot it up one day after a trip I got a white screen and thats it. I tried my hmdi port and my vga port and still nothing no video out and ive pulled this thing apart like 5 times trying to see what it was and I just cant see it at all. I'm thinking its the graphics card seeing as there is no video out but I want someone else to confirm this as well. I can also tell you that i can hear the boot up sounds in windows so it is posting.

I'd suspect the graphics card or the motherboard. Most laptops have the graphics cards soldered in, so you'd have to replace the board.

Got integrated graphics you can try? (Though dunno how you switch without seeing what you're doing.)

Its possible your cable going to your monitor from the motherboard came loose. Try to lock it in the motherboard using the brown tabs (If you have any)
