Question why does the CPU usage go up in windows 11 version 23H2?

Hello,

I've been working with Windows 11 (version 23H2) for a few days now and I've noticed a strange behavior. When the system wakes up from sleep, the CPU usage in Task Manager for some processes (such as System and StartMenuExperienceHost) suddenly goes up and takes a few minutes to normalize.
My question is:
Is this a known issue in Windows 11 or is it related to the chipset drivers? Has anyone had a similar experience?
I didn't have anything like this on Windows 10 on this same laptop.

It is likely just normal behavior as the system refreshes what is running. That being said, have you scanned for malware recently?

Also, why 23H2? 25H2 is the current release.

Yes. This sometimes happens in Windows 11. Especially after waking from sleep, some background tasks are started, so the CPU is a bit more busy. You can try updating the chipset drivers and also the power. It should help, but this is usually normal behavior.
