Will an indoor antenna work in a basement apt of a 3-story building?

Hi all, newbie here, and new to "cutting the cord" . Have my Roku working great, but so far cannot get any picture with my Isignia indoor antenna.

Does anyone here live in the basement or ground floor of an apartment building, and using an indoor antenna? If so, which one works for you?

An antenna in a basement is likely not going to provide acceptable reception. You need to, at least, get above ground level somehow. Do you have a window where you might be able to place the antenna?

Your situation maybe the worst scenario for cord cutting, don't get too excited just yet.

The tv is about 8' away from the window.

You may need a longer cable to attach to your antenna and then mount it in the window. Generally, the higher you can get your antenna, the better.
