Will connecting speakers a 5 disc cd changer work alone??

Hello, I would like to know if I can connect speakers to a 5 disc cd change and play it as is? The cd player has rca jacks so I would need to convert speaker wire etc.. no problem here i just neede to know if i can play music qwith only speakers and disc changer..

It won't work the way you might want it to work, because you will not hear much or anything at all depending on speakers.

RCA connector on your CD changer is line level output and it needs an amplifier to increase the power to get regular un-amplified or passive speakers to work; unless of course you are connecting an amplified or active speakers.
