Windows 10 Chrome issues

Hi folks. I (unfortunately) tried windows 10 on my 8.1 Pro laptop. All was good previously but Google Chrome is now virtually useless. Has anyone encountered/solved this? Also, is it possible just to revert somehow? I wasn't smart enough to create a recovery 😛

Could you try the temp fix that's posted here ?
Also, download and install Mozilla firefox and tell me if it's breaking too.

Monzilla works fine on win 10

Current issues are with the 64-bit.

Right - installing 32-bit or using said workaround seems like a much more efficient use of time than downgrading back to 8.1 just for Chrome.

Thanks guys. I'd found that workaround before but it was unclear that the initial characters were -- so i'd copy pasted the string and ended up with something else. I have just entered it so I will see how it goes. I had problems with the 32bit as well.

No dice i'm afraid. The fix is.....use Firefox! Yay, firefox is lovely since i last used it. I may not even go back to chrome.

Google is probably working extensively to fix their compatibility with win10, they won't lose users and fans easy.
