Windows Certified Monitor?

I just got a new monitor and plugged it in and works but the one i just used moments before is now not windows 8.1 certified? i have 2 vga outputs, the one connected to the video card and the moherboard. please help me get this problem worked out!

you cant use the mb graphics ports and the graphics cards ones . The mb graphics are diasabled when you insert a graphics card . Use an adapter and connect to the graphics card

both monitors have to be plugged into the GPU for it to work, or both into the motherboard, but you cannot use both the onboard graphics and the GPU at the same time.

You might be able to use both but it depends on the mobo.
