A few days ago, I had a problem with one of my USB drives and I ejected it while the computer was restarting (one of the apps I had on my drive became unresponsive so I had to restart). Afterwards, when I connected the same USB drive into the USB port, the file explorer became unresponsive and it didn't allow me to open the USB drive. It won't even let me format the drive. Is there a solution to this? I don't mind losing the files in the drive, but I want to keep the USB itself so that I can use it again.

Solution
Test it on another system, see if it shows up in disk manager. If it's in disk manager try to delete the partition and create a new one and format that. If it does not work, replace the drive.
