Wireing diagram for aiwa home stereo speakers

i have a pair of aiwa sx-m55 speakers it has 2 spk. wires out the back one has the plug on it already the other is the one with the white strip on it and black wire. i want to hook them up to my new flat screen tv is that possible?

My TV has audio output but I am uncertain of the connections to my speaker system I recently purchased a pair of Aiwa SX-M55 speakers but nothing else each speaker has a lead with an RCA plug & a second twin lead with no plug can you advise me how to connect to my TV do I need an amplifier
