I just want to be able to download movies , and then drop them onto the hard drive and then access them from my tv remote via usb . Does your TV natively support DviX and XviD formats? If not, you cannot use the TV to directly play Videos, my TV only support Pictures and Music Via USB, if I want to use an USB Hard Drive, I have to plug in into my Blue-Ray Player...

Hope it helps! :)
