Hello,

I have my typical Comcast box in the living room connected to my tv. I also have a tv in the bedroom that I'd like to wirelessly transmit the HDMI signal to. If possible, I'd also like to bring the remote to the bedroom and control the channels and such from there. I was hoping there'd be an easy solution vs. getting another set top box and paying for that. It doesn't matter to me that both tvs will be on the same channel, they never get used simultaneously.

Oh and finally, I hope the solution is expandable, because I will eventually be putting a tv in the bathroom and would like to get the same HDMI signal. Ideally, I can watch the news in the mornings and not be interrupted by walking to and fro the bedroom and bathroom.

Thnx

The easiest and best solution is to run cable to the other rooms.

Alternatively you can try something like the device I list below, but most inexpensive transmitters are intended primarily for surveillance purposes and will not give you an HD signal.

I can not speak to the quality of the device below as I've never tried one before, but you should do some research on transmitters/recievers on your own and see what you come up with.

You can use one of these to split the HDMI output of the cable box

You can use one of these to transmit HDMI to the remote TV and send back the IR signal from the remote.

You will also need 3 additional HDMI cables (TV to splitter, splitter to tranmitter, receiver to TV). You already have the cable that will go from the splitter to the local TV.
Make sure you can return these items if they don't work. There are levels of performance and functionality with this type of stuff and you might have to spend more.

@revolution2718, I've seen the type you describe, but you're right, they are intended for standard def and below.

@Americanaudiophile ,That's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. I also found http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/799713-REG/Brite_View_BV_2322_Air_SyncHD_Wireless_1080p.html/
and it's a bit cheaper, but idk if I'm missing something about the functionality
For all of these, is it easy enough to get a second reciever?
