My 3 year old is getting a tv in his room. He LOVES dvd players so he won't be able to have one anywhere he can get to it. Are there dvd players that will wirelessly play on a tv from across the room? Or one that can be mounted vertically? It will be wall mounted and a horizontal dvd player will stick out too far for safety reasons. ..please help! I've Googled for 3 days now and I'm at a total loss.

I am not aware of any wireless players but you could add a wireless AV transmitter-receiver. Make sure you get a DVD player with composite video and audio outputs. There are wireless HDMI adapters but not cheap ones.

A slot loaded player should allow for vertical placement. I would try this at a store to make sure.
The other option is to just keep the discs away from him. The player won't be too fascinating if there is nothing around to use it with. Then you can get a TV with the player built in.
