Looking for a laptop i can use at uni and work for less than £450.
Requirements, lots of memory (8GB min), decent size hard drive (1Tb min) lots of CPU cores (min 6) will be running multiple virtual machines and resource intensive tasks. also reliability would be nice as i will probably run it through the ringer quite a bit.

ebay, amazon accepted, doesn't matter if its not brand new. also no auctions wanting to buy it before end of the week.

Thanks, it looks to be a pretty good laptop however the RAM and HD capacity are lacking somewhat. I plan to use it for VM with about 12 different OS (windows and linux) so the high specks are needed if i run more than 1 at a time.

I managed to find a pretty good laptop which was just put on sale (was ex display so some scratches which im not too fussed about) which had an AMD A10, 8GB RAM and a 1Tb HDD.

picked it up for just under £450 from ebay so managed to save £150 on it :) problem is im not a fan of HP (or laptops in general) never liked all the bloat-ware they put on them.
