Would senheiser pc350 SE run on my soundcard

I want to buy the senheiser pc350 SE but idk if my onboard soundcard would be good
My motherboard is MSI 970a-g43
The soundcard is Realtek alc887
And idk if this headset is better or the hyperx cloud 2 i will use it for competitive fps games

The headset powers off 3.5mm jacks that are found on the chassis fornt panel or the rear I/O of the motherboard:

so yeah they will work.

IMHO they are better in terms of an analog headset since the HyperX Cloud II is powered by a USB sound card.
