Hello all,
Friday afternoon, I was carrying my Y480 when my water bottle opened and spilled all over my laptop. It had my battery in. I didn't know that water was on it until I plugged in my power adaptor and it wouldn't turn on. I saw the power button blinking, the power light flashing amber, and the battery light white. I took apart my laptop, and found water underneath the keyboard. Not a lot of water but still. I dried it up as much as I can, let it sit and plugged it back in. It worked fine.
I then left it off for 11 hours and tried again Saturday afternoon. Used it just fine for the next 8 hours.
I was wondering if I should still call Lenovo's warranty service and see if they should do something about this. I only have the 1 year limited warranty.
What are your thoughts?
