Yahoo Announces Do-Not-Track; Has an Option to Buy Info

hmm... Google doesn't provide the no tracking by default, only via third party add-on. considering that google's main income is advertising then it's "understandable".

I frankly don't care why Yahoo is doing this for; I just appreciate them for being another option against the "Track-it-all" mentality of Google.

Doesn't Google have a "Do Not Track" extension for Chrome?

Yeah, but we should be forced to add an extension to get their fingers out of our person data.

What's wrong with that? There has been a bit of a movement lately with the it being more known now just how much Google, Facebook, etc. make money of of the very users that support and use their services. It's fine that Yahoo implemented an option and discourages not checking the DNT feature, thank you even more for even giving the option though.[/citation]

Being who Google is, they're not going to provide it for you, and it's a 3rd party app for Chrome at least for now. The even bigger surprise though is Yahoo IS doing this given search engines all have the same monetary business model, glad to see it though.
