Hi guys. just built my brand new PC with MSI z370 Tomahawk mobo and Windows 10.

I then connected the motherboard to my YAMAHA YAS-207 sounder with the Toslink (optical) cable, set up correct digital audio output in win10, but I have no sound from the soundbar.

Any hint??

Thanks

Regards

Solution
Since the soundbar was meant to be used with a TV it may not be compatible with the digital audio codec on the TV or on the source (video file, stream, or game) you want to listen to. Try changing it if possible, DTS or Dolby codecs are different from each other so don't assume that the soundbar will accept all the variations.
