I am not able to open gmail in both chrome and IE.
getting an error and all other sites am able to access. Could you please help?

It could be that you're connected on a public WiFi or something like that. Anyway, I would recommend you to install a free trial of MalwareFox Anti-Malware and perform a full scan with it just to be on the safe side.
