YouTube just stops playing video in midstream. Why

Have ZTE Blade which when playing U Tube will just stop playing song for no obvious reason and does this several times during some songs. Why is this?

If it only does it during certain songs, those songs may have problems or may have commercials in them. (which happens).

Try clearing the app's cache in the phones "Settings" and then restart the phone.
