Youtube lowers the quality of my videos

1080p
60fps
Variable bitrate 1 pass: target: 10Mbps max:12Mbps
Profile: High
Level: 5.1
Aspect ratio: Square pixels (1.0)
Audio bitrate 384Kbps

On my PC video looks Great Full HD quality.
On youtube it is https/youtu.be/6xa78hGjPms Like 720p-480p

I use Hitfilm 3 express as my editing program. It has option to upload straight to youtube but they ask for permissions over my channel so I refuse to use that option.

What should I do. I use that for editing because its free and works awesome.

If I hit your link, and check the settings gear (bottom right), 1080p is available.
Youtube automatically selects the best quality depending on your connection speed (one that is guaranteed to not buffer). On mine, it defaulted to 720p (10Mb ADSL connection), but I can manually go and change it.
