How To Install Widevine Plugin On Google Chrome

IF you like watching most of your consumable visual content on your desktop or have cut the chord t your television then Wdievine is one plugin you can live with having in your arsenal. Widevine is a plugin meant for viewing premium content on your web browser and is built on a DRM(Digital Rights management) firm. Aiding owners in maintaining a secure way to manage digital content across multiple platforms in your household as well as streaming them online. For the sake of this tutorial, we'll show you how to install the Widevine plugin on Google's Chrome web browser.

The plugin should be installed in your Chrome web browser regardless of whether you want it or not. You can double check to see if the plugin exists on your browser by opening Chrome web browser and typing chrome://plugins/ in your address bar and you should be greeted with this screen.


If by accident you've removed the plugin then:
    ■Through your web browser type http://www.widevine.com/download/videooptimizer and hit enter.


    ■Click on the links with respect to your browser and OS.


    ■Save the file onto your storage device.

    ■Go into the folder you've saved it in and Run the installer in an elevated command, i.e; Right click>Run as Administrator.


    ■Click on Close to exit the installation window.


    You have successfully installed Widevine plugin on your browser.
