hello there a few things lol ive never owned a gaming device..in my 19yrs and couldnt afford anything untill now..so for my first i wanted to ask some questions
whats the best gaming laptop for around 1400 usd i want it to be good playing medium games for around 2-3years i hope i was looking at this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834227049
would this be good and last me a bit from what i seen on newegg and tiger its all good reviews. Was also wondering would just buying a used ps3 then the new version in december be the better choice?would this laptop be able to keep up with the next gen of gaming?also was thinking about building a desktop but because of shipping could only afford a 660m or a 7870 gpu..so what do you think would be best
Thank you in advance

It's a very good system for a very good price. That is actually a MSI notebook, rebranded and with the mSATA SSD removed. MSI makes very good systems, and that one would future proof you to a fair degree, with its Ivy Bridge i7 CPU and 675MX video card.

Still, as calmlikeabomb mentioned, it's best to assess what you need it for before we offer buying advice.

That being the case, the Lenovo is definitely a good deal. New systems are right around the corner with the 7xxM series and the new Intel chips as well, so if it's worth it to you, you could stand to save a few bucks if you wait (maybe - depends on the retailer) or instead, hold off for a Haswell based system. Performance isn't a big increase in the 4th gen Intel chips, but battery life and overall efficiency is said to be.
