2.1 Audio setup - Mac Pro 2012

Would like to upgrade sound on my Mac Pro, and would like to have a 2.1 setup. I have a Klipsch R-12SW Sub that is unused and I'm looking at the JBL LSR305's or??? What's the best way to get this type of setup working properly? I don't have a big budget, but I want it done right. Thank you.

wow that's a pretty high-end sub... So here's a quality yet cheap solution to get it going - first get something that can have line-out to connect to an amp, like the Behringer U-Control Uca202, a decent stereo amp with sub output like the Onkyo TX-8020, some cables to connect the UCA202 to the amp like these, a cable to connect the LFE output like this, some decent budget speakers like the Micca MB42s, and some speaker cable like this.
