hello
Considering a 6inch Female3.5mm Stereo Jack/Two Male 3.5mm Stereo(Headphone + MIC) Plug Cable,
how to modify the MIC 3.5mm plug so it becomes technically a HEADPHONE 3.5mm plug?
What is difference between these 2 plugs so that I can't use them like a stereo SPLITTER?
Thanks
Simon

sounds like a headset adapter to me. the one side is 4pole which you do not want.

it sounds like you want a normal headphone splitter which is 3pole on both sides.

yes, there is a difference and NO you cannot make it work (at least not without extensive modification which given the cheap price of cables is a moot point)
