a digital convertor box and Roku streaming stick

I have a Iview 3100stb digital converter box and the roku streaming stick 3600r and am trying to figure out how to connect them. Right now I have the streaming stick plugged into the HDMI port on the back of the box and the usb cord is plugged into the stick and into the wall and its not pairing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You can't connect them.
The converter box doesn't have any inputs just outputs. I think the USB port on the front is for the drive that video would be recorded to. It won't serve any other function.
They both connect to your TV not to each other.
You can't use the converter box to record the Roku output.
If you don't have enough HDMI inputs on your TV you will need to get an HDMI input selector.
