A way to monitor students activites using MDM

We have school issued tablets that run Windows RT and the Tablet is called a Windows Surface (The Original). We need a way to monitor the students while they are at school and using School wifi to insure they are doing what they are supposed to do and the way we want to find is a MDM solution that works for Windows Surface's as they do not run .EXE file extension's. Thank you.

We gave trust they abused it and we have Blocked access to a lot of their websites but to make sure that we have all of them and to monitor them we need a MDM solution.

Spying like this on students can get you into a lot of legal trouble. Look at the debacle when students were having pictures taken of them in various forms of dress from school supplied devices and the schools got sued.

There are MDM systems(MobileIron) that can do what you want. It will allow you to push applications, allow certain applications, disallow other applications, and monitor much of what happens on the tablets.

You will be better off posting this question at Microsoft forum. WinRT is quite strange animal, and probably MS themselves have a solution for that.
