I bought a 2015 acer aspire e5 573g two years ago and for a while it worked perfectly but in the last 3 month's I have been having a charging issue. The original charger that came with it stopped working so I bought a new charger a universal charger. That charger worked for a while the it stopped working. Unnoticed by me the the universal charger had bent the chaging pin inside the DC jack and so I replaced it with one exactly like (just slightly longer). Then I realized that the voltage on the universal charger was 12 and I need a 19 so I bought new one. Which brings me to my current issuse when I plug the charger in I hear a clicking noise. At first I though that the HDD had failed but I took it apart anyway and found the source of the noise it seems to be coming from the battery slot when I take the battery out and plug the charger in the noise is gone does anyone have an idea as to what the problem might be?
