Acer Aspire XC-603G Keyboard Problem

I have an Acer XC-603G and the USB connected keyboard stops working. If I unplug it and plug it back in, it will work for awhile. It then stop working, usually when I change apps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check the power settings for your USB devices: Go to Device Manager>Uinversal Serial Bus Controllers and go through each one by right clicking, then selecting properties. If it has a Power Management tab go to that and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". See if that helps.
