Acer lightbulb beeps when flashing

Hi,
when I close my Acer laptop, the tiny lightbulb LED starts flashing orange. That wouldn't be a problem but it also makes a very quiet beeping sound whenever it is on, and it's driving me mad when I'm trying to fall asleep. Do you know what the reason could be?

Is that the battery LED? Could be low battery warning.

No, it has a tiny lightbulb sign next to it, and the beeping is just really really quiet and high-pitched, almost like those sounds old TVs used to make when you turned them on.

Check what you have your power management set to do when you close the lid. Does it continue to have the light on when you shut it off?
