ActiveSync reinstall

Recently, after a major problem I carried out a hard
reset of iPaq h5550 (PPC2003) and tried to re-establish a
partnership with my PC. This would not work so I
uninstalled ActiveSync from PC and tried to re-install.
After I start to run MSASYNC.exe it just hangs at the
InstallShield Wizard. I have closed down AVG before
install. Any ideas what might be stopping this from re-
installing.

Reboot and then try the installer. Also, make sure your temporary
folder is empty before running the installer.
