Adding ram in HP 15-ay503tx

I am planning to upgrade my to RAM, for now my lap is having 8GB, going to add another 8GB. I need know the good suitable brand, advantages on upgrading, and cons of any available.

My motive in upgrading ram is for smooth run for video editing (premiere) mainly and games (pubg, fortnite) occasionally.

Guide me through. Thanks in advance.

for games it won´t matter much, because your video RAM will be always at 2GB DDR3

for premiere it could help a bit, but I doubt it will be

dual channel RAM can improve the overall performance though, as well as a SSD instead of the slow hard drive.

The already installed RAM is a single 8 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM, so anything more than that e.g . 3200MHz is not necessary, because your CPU natively supports "only" 2133MHz of RAM speed.

Get a standard Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill like one of these in the list:

With laptops usually RAM and SSD is the only thing you can upgrade.

You would need a better CPU and GPU to feel a real boost in performance, but that´s not posible with this HP laptop
