After installing windows

I lost my pdf file in win8.1
i download pdf file then in my computer have a problems then I install win 8.1 in computer after this I chek my computer I saw there was a no pdf file kindly help me for this

Did you check your documents, and downloads. Is it on the desktop? Hiding in plain sight?

when you say you installed windows 8.1 in your computer,do you mean to say you did a clean install or just upgraded to win8.1?if you did a clean install none of your files will be there.
