Alienware 17 2013 key replacement

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum.

I have alienware 17 2013 model. My keyboard "z" button is broken. I am not sure whether the whole part is broken or just the keycap. Anyone here to assist me how to know whether to replace the key with hinge or the whole keyboard.

Yes the z button works without the keycap.

If it still works, then you don't need a whole keyboard. You should be able to just replace the keycap. This site has them, http/www.replacementlaptopkeys.com/dell-alienware-17-laptop-key-replacement/ although not cheaply. I am sure there are other places as well.
