I just got my Samsung TX-P3076WH HDTV a CRT set, and while I'm generally
pleased I see a convergence shift for the red along left vertical edges over
most of the screen. Now I know that absolute perfection is not attainable but I
would think it should be better for HDTV. I would like to see some comments as
to the experience of others on this. How can I judge what is acceptable?
In the old days I did some TV servicing and have done convergence adjustments
and I would think I could do better than what I see here.
When thay delivered the set I noticed the delivery guy moving the box end over
end and letting it drop each time to get it from the back to the unloading end
of the truck.
I spoke to a Samsung service guy and he said convergence on CRT is factory
fixed and that I should ask for a replacement from the store.
Thanks.
