Hi, I've got a Lenovo G50-45 series notebook, which has a AMD A8 6410 (2Ghz Quad core), 4GB (1600Mhz) RAM upgradeable upto 16GB (1833Mhz), 2GB ATi R5 M230 DDR3 VRAM. So far, I can play GTA IV (low), Battlefield 4 (med), COD MW3 (high) at 1366X768 res. I'm planning to stack up my RAM to 16 Gigs (8X2). I'm wondering, will that make any significant difference in generating better fps in gaming? Also, is there any way it can (if possible to some extent) play GTA V ?
Sorry if this is too late, but to answer your question: I suggest you buy the maximum frequency RAM you can get, which in your case would be 1866mhz RAM. However if you can't find any then 1600mhz is perfectly adequate.
