Hi, I've got a Lenovo G50-45 series notebook, which has a AMD A8 6410 (2Ghz Quad core), 4GB (1600Mhz) RAM upgradeable upto 16GB (1833Mhz), 2GB ATi R5 M230 DDR3 VRAM. So far, I can play GTA IV (low), Battlefield 4 (med), COD MW3 (high) at 1366X768 res. I'm planning to stack up my RAM to 16 Gigs (8X2). I'm wondering, will that make any significant difference in generating better fps in gaming? Also, is there any way it can (if possible to some extent) play GTA V ?

Solution
I recommend only going to 8GB, 16GB is way overkill for gaming. And to fully answer your question yes, the added memory will help a little with fps.

Thanks. And what RAM frequency and make do you recommend? My APU can only support upto 1866Mhz for memory.
