Android streaming PC storage

I've been messing around with workgroups and my android phone recently to try and find different ways of accessing my media. I have a samsung tv which can play files from usb, is there any way I could virtualize my PC's shared folder to display on my phones storage so that I can access it through usb?

This may be pretty far-fetched and I could set-up a NAS in the living room instead but I've just been really curious to see if I can do it. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the suggestion, but I knew I could do that already. I'm not looking for simpler solutions, more of a proof of concept.

People don't quite understand what I'm asking so I'm just gonna close this thread if I can.

We do understand what you're asking - you want your phone to ask as a USB stick with files residing on the server PC. Writing such an app for a phone would require plugging very low into the device hardware in order to kick out existing USB support - not an easy taks, and I doubt anyone has done it.
