[citation][nom]Gogetfucked[/nom]I find it odd they don't mention what his crime was here. I'm always far more interested in what they did to get hunted down digitally by the FBI then this boring story of how they did it. Zzzzzz[/citation]

I think when they mentioned "releasing the private information of dozens of police officers including home addresses, home telephone numbers and mobile phone numbers." Somehow I think this tramples on the rights of others by their expression of "justice."

[citation][nom]maxiim[/nom]Third paragraph is all you need to read, Apple screwed him, these iMorons will never learn, keep up with the masses and in the end they will find a way to stick you from behind.[/citation]
Why is it that someone has to always do something like this? If you want to start a flame war, go elsewhere.

[citation][nom]s3anister[/nom]Seriously? He's a supposed hacker and he wasn't intelligent enough to wipe the exif data off the image?[/citation]
What you'll find is that Anonymous is almost totally devoid of talent. Any moron can use automated tools to probe websites for known vulnerabilities. DDoSing websites is to hacking what paint by numbers is to art. Don't agree? Then you're an idiot and might want to consider actually learning a thing or two about security, rather than deciding you're already an expert.

Anonymous and their idiot supporters are far more impressed with themselves than actual experts are. It's sad, really, that the majority really are just stupid kids who either don't understand the consequences, or have such gigantic egos that they think they're invincible.

They talk big about it being "for the lulz" and all that hydra nonsense, right up until the FBI knocks on their door and escorts them to the 8x10 cell they'll be spending the next five to ten years of their life in.

For the lulz was right, but the punchline isn't what they expected. Enjoy the irony, asholes, because I'm laughing it up.

[citation][nom]memadmax[/nom]"GPS co-ordinates were also lifted from the image"Seriously, dude, how much privacy do you need to lose before you iFreaks wake up.... It's all fun and games till the man comes down on you and steamrolls your rights....[/citation]
It's quite scary how they were able to track him from all that. Comes to show that not even a hacker can hide from the eyes of the government

Not so smart after all was he. Unfortunately there is collateral damage, but I think the parties involved would know of this threat to their personal information.

[citation][nom]mstngs351[/nom]They need to be sent somewhere that life is hard. Maybe then this punks will learn to appreciate how good they have it and stop endangering others just because they think it's cool.[/citation]

How is it endangering others ? These police are clearly honest and trust worthy why would anyone ever want to do anything bad to them ?

Wow all these skills these supposed hackers have, they sure are stupid to post stuff like this to lead officials back to them. This is proof that these hackers are only little punks that are doing no good.

Should I be happy they busted another one of these guys? Or should I be scared that the FBI was able to track down a person through a picture because of logged GPS coordinates? If they can do it, so can anyone else.

Idiot. I don't know how to hack anything and even I know that smartphones embed GPS information in photos taken. I always turn that feature off as soon as I can and never turn it back on, no way I want someone tracking me down.

A supposed expert brought down by the noobest tactic.

Am I the only one that thinks referring to someone as "headless" technically sounds like grounds for homicide and a murder investigation?
