ARC not supported and HDMI no signal

hi.. i just need some help..i have a samsung smart tv series 4 and samsung HT-e350k.. how can i get the sound from my home theater speaker using my TV not the DVD... i plug all the cables like HDMI and its show "ARC not supported" and also i use AUX the red and white cable but still i cant here any sounds from my home theater speaker when i use the tv..

someone pls help me about this..

Model number of the TV would help.
The HT has ARC and so should a new TV so if you plug it into the HDMI input on the TV labeled ARC and turn it on in the TV and maybe HT menus it should work.

hi sir thanks for the response .. by the way this is the model of my tv http/www.samsung.com/africa_en/consumer/tv-av/tv/hd/UA40H4203ARXXA .. hopefully you check it..
my tv is not supported HDMI arc..

get an optical to rca adapter / interface. Other than that, you are fubarred with that tv configuration.

I have the same receiver and an ACE LED-808 TV and have the same question. I'm thinking I can use the 3 RCA cables that are going from the cable box to the TV, and run them to the receiver, then use HDMI from the receiver to the TV. Will this work???
