ARC problem with Panasonic SCBTT196 home cinema

How to make the ARC working on Panasonic SCBTT196 home cinema? I've tried 2 different HDMI cables v 1.4 both described as capable of dealing with ARC, I have a ARC compatible tv and I've made everything described in Owner s Manual of the home cinema, on tv - "Sound Out : External speaker (HDMI ARC)" . BTW the tv is LG

You have to make sure to use the ARC designated HDMI input on the TV and turn ARC on in the TV set up menu. Select that input on the TV and then select the External input as ARC on the HTiB
