I understand that probooks are business notebooks.
Does this mean they are more reliable?
By better, I don't mean better performance, I mean longer hardware life.

Solution
Probooks aren't any better than Pavilions when it comes to longer hardware life or, reliability.

They are aimed at different consumer groups.

Probooks are geared towards customers who will primarily use their laptops for business purposes such as crunching huge spreadsheets, creating crucial designs, etc.

Pavilions are for the consumers who'll use their notebooks for entertainment purposes.
