Are there different type Fiber Optic cables for smart T V

We have a new Samsung Cuved Smart T V and Sound bar.I was sold Monster Fiber Optic
Cable,but I will not fit into slot designated on TV. It is 2.43 m

There is only one standard for optical audio cables "Toslink". BUT the part that is enlarged for being able to grab-a-hold on is not standard. Many of the "premium" cables have large finger grab areas. If the optical port has any shoulder around it, the finger grab won't fit into it. Try MONOPRICE and get a $5 Toslink cable.
