Hello,
I accidentally left my Acer Aspire One D255e in the hot summer sun. It has hardly been used, and now it can no longer boot properly. I watched a tutorial about how to disassemble, which seems simple enough..but I was wondering if there might be any wisdom out there that would help me identify problems. When I try to boot, it goes to a screen that says "Check cable connection! - No bootable device". Meanwhile, the netbook itself is making a repetitive clicking noise, which seems to be coming from the HDD. I haven't tried disassembling yet, but will do so to identify burnt or melted parts.
Please help! thanks
