I just received an Acer Aspire E11 111M C37Q laptop for Christmas. Its great so far but the small 32GB drive is killing me. I have looked at multiple places around the web and I can't determine if the drive is upgradeable. I know the size of the drive would have to be 2.5 inches. However, I'm not sure if it uses HDD or SSD memory. Can someone help me figure this out and how I could transfer everything from the current drive to a new one?

For someone with no experience at soldering components, it will be much safer to have the connector and capacitors soldered by a professional technician. It's not worth the time and money to buy the equipment you need for the modification.

It's not just the equipment you need, what is the most important is the skill to solder the components. For someone who never solder, or even people who solder everyday, you have skilled people and you have not skilled people. So if Matthew wants to start soldering, I encourage him to do so.
