I have been given a Asus T100ha laptop where the previous owner somehow go into cmd prompt and accidently "cleaned" the C: drive and now it is missing from boot options, just goes stright into bios where there are no selection options under "Boot".Have spent many a hour searching for options and have tried every answer but not luck. So far I have made multiple bootable thumbdrives, tried external dvdroms, winpe, recovery USB but all start to indicate about to boot at startup but then goes straight into bios again. Any assistance geatly appriated.

Solution

If the drive was wiped, it wold not prevent booting from another disk like a USB stick.

Thanks for the reply mate. Have updated bios to latest but still no luck. Being a transformer laptop have disconnected battery, held down power button no luck, tried resetting..nothing. Been thinking about this and by the sounds of it they have "cleaned" (wiped) c: drive through diskpart and now C: is an inactive drive maybe. Need to get into CMD but cant even boot from anything just straight into bios.
