Model: ASUS Q500A
Processor: i7 3632QM
Graphics: Integrated Intel 4000
Windows 10
I have had a recurring issue with waking my laptop from sleep for a while now. If I close the lid or put it to sleep through any means, the wake process fails after about half a second - before the screen has time to turn on. The computer then goes through the normal start up procedure (usually automatically after the crash) with no indication that a crash occurred other than a Kernel 41 error in the event log.
There is no blue screen and no Minidump file created despite multiple tries to create one. The issue still occurs with all non-necessary start programs disabled. The laptop does this only when woken from sleep/opening the lid and regardless of any changes that have been made to the power settings. I have spent quite a bit of time attempting to fix this but to no avail.
I appreciate any help that can be offered. Thanks!
